Completely Vegan Banana Bread
What makes this banana bread interesting is that Natty “Almondo” almond butter and chocolate buttons are added to it, which makes this bread extra delicious. Since I used regular chocolate in the recipe, it happened that the crushed pieces of chocolate completely melted into the bread and left the bread moist in the middle. It’s not raw but maybe not for everyone, so I recommendyou to used special chocolate buttons for baking.
If the banana bread has already cooled down, it is especially nice to cut slices of it and toast it, then cover it with almond butter, add some slices of banana and chocolate. Wonderful!
Recipe:
3 bananas
75g Natty “Almondo” nut butter
80g maple syrups
90g chocolate buttons
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
1 teaspoon of sea salt
30 g of cocoa
250g wheat flour
Crush the bananas with a fork and add to the bowl. Add Natty “Almondo” nut butter, maple syrup, chocolate buttons and vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
In another bowl, mix baking powder, cinnamon powder, sea salt, cocoa and wheat flour. Add it to the banana-almond butter mixture and mix until smooth.
Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
Put the banana dough on a prefered baking tray covered with baking paper.
Bake at 180 degrees for 50-55 minutes or until wooden stick comes out clean from the center of the banana bread, then the bread is ready.
Allow the banana bread to cool properly, then store it in an airtight container to prevent it from drying out.
