Natty bean-brownie cookies
Cookies made from beans? Sounds absolutely crazy! But well worth a try! Enjoy the magic of legumes!
You will need:
Quantity: 12 pcs
250 g of boiled red beans
125 g of pitted dates
70 g oatmeal flour
3 tablespoons raw cocoa powder
30 g of Natty “Almondo” almond butter
1 teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon of salt
1-2 tablespoons chocolate buttons or pieces
Preparation:
Pour hot water on the dates and soak for 15 minutes, then strain. If necessary, rinse the beans and process all the ingredients (except the chocolate buttons) into a homogeneous mixture with a food processor or hand mixer. Stir in the chocolate buttons and form 12 cookies from the dough.
Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 20 minutes until the cookies start to crack. Cool completely and enjoy the magic of legumes.
